Google Adsense is a contextual advertising program run by Google. It allows advertisers to run ads on different websites or in this case on articles or hubs on the Hubpages website. When you create articles, Hubpages allows Google to put ads around your articles. If these ads are clicked on then you receive a portion of the advertising money the advertisers pay Google. With Google Adsense you are not a employee of Google but you are paid and affiliated with them.
